Project Overview
The Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Association is a registered Florida charity dedicated to preserving and promoting jazz in the Tampa Bay area. Named in honor of jazz musician Al Downing, the association runs educational programs, scholarships for young musicians, live performances, jam sessions and the Sounds of Healing podcast.
Modiphy built a website that brings the association's programs, events and fundraising together in one place.
The Challenge
A nonprofit arts organisation has many jobs to do online: promote events, recruit members, attract donors and help young musicians apply for scholarships. The association needed a site that could do all of this while honouring Al Downing's legacy and the community feel of its jam sessions.
Our Solution
We built dedicated sections for education, scholarships, donations, the podcast, events and membership. The site features event listings for the Monday Night Jazz Jam and the monthly Youth Jazz Jam at Pinellas Community Church, plus scholarship application and donation links.
The Result
The association now has a site that turns interest into action, helping fans find the next jam, supporters donate or join, and young musicians apply for scholarships.
