Blossom

Project Description

Project Overview
Blossom is a Baton Rouge organization of essential workers advocating to enhance the lives of children. Founded by Shelita Smith, its Founder and Executive Director, Blossom provides emergency essential resources to children, from infants to teens, in disadvantaged communities facing crisis or financial hardship.
Modiphy built a website that tells Blossom's story and explains how it helps children in the Baton Rouge area.
The Challenge
A young nonprofit needs to explain clearly who it serves, why it exists and how it is different, so that partners, referrers and supporters understand where they fit in. Blossom also needed a home for programs like Life Skills to Blossom.
Our Solution
We built the site around four sections: What We Do, Our Story, At Blossom and Blossom C.A.R.E.S. It explains the organization's emergency resources, its Life Skills to Blossom program for teens covering self-care, financial literacy and social etiquette, and its goal of distributing requested resources within 24 hours of each referral.
The Result
Blossom now has a clear online presence that explains its mission and programs to families, partners and supporters across Baton Rouge.
