Project Overview
The Diocese of Baton Rouge Child Nutrition Program provides school meals across schools in the Diocese of Baton Rouge. It is committed to creating an environment where students can make healthy food choices that support success and lifelong health.
Modiphy built a website that gives parents everything they need about school meals in one place.
The Challenge
Parents need quick answers about menus, allergens, meal applications and payments, and many of those services run on separate platforms. The program needed a single hub that pointed families to the right tool and kept them informed about changes.
Our Solution
We built a parent information hub covering menus and nutrition through MealViewer, free and reduced-price meal applications, online meal payments, the after-school meals program, food allergy information, refund requests and the wellness policy. The site also includes employment, manager resources and purchasing pages.
The Result
Parents can now find menus, apply for meal benefits and pay for meals from one site, while staff and job seekers have their own resources.
